Jo Ann Rinehart

She was born on January 7, 1926, in Phoenix, AZ, to L. Ross and Pauline E. (Weger) Ingels. On February 18, 1994, she married Paul Edward Rinehart, who passed away on October 3, 2017. Jo Ann was a 1943 Kokomo High School graduate. She retired as a secretary from Ervin Elementary School. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church. Jo Ann loved painting, reading, playing Bridge and was an excellent seamstress.Jo Ann is survived by her son, Mark E. (Wendy) Rinehart, of Hamilton, OH; daughters Pamela Jo (Dennis) Massengill, of Punta Gorda, Fl, Gail (Kurt) Daggett, of Galveston, and Gwen (Cecil) Harp of Marietta, GA; eight grandchildren, Marnie Cornell, Andy Mulis, Annie Bean, Kyle Rinehart, Erin Elhard, Rachael Webb, JC Webb, and Kelly Brown; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Virginia “Jenni” Prifogle, of Kokomo.Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, L. Ross and Pauline E. Ingels; step other, Valera Ingels; and grandson, Ryan Massengill. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. Russiaville, with Pastor Ryan Sibray officiating. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 3 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
